Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are applicable to all conference participants.

Registration
  • All participants must pay the registration fee prior to arrival at the conference venue.

  • Registration fee includes entrance into the conference, breakfasts, lunch, refreshments, and entry into the April 24, 2019 networking event.

  • Registration fee does not include travel, local transportation or accommodation. Registrants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
Cancellation and Refund
  • Cancellation requests received before March 15, 2019 will receive a full refund of registration fees less an administration charge of $50.00.

  • Cancellations made after March 15, 2019, as well as 'no shows', will not receive any refunds. Registrants may transfer the registration to a delegate after March 15, 2019 at no charge. This transfer must occur by April 5, 2019, and only one (1) transfer is allowed per registration.

  • All cancellations must be received in writing - by e-mail to fraudprevention@interac.ca. Refunds will be provided by applying a refund to the credit card used during registration. Registrants who do not attend meals, events, or coffee breaks included in the registration fee, will not receive a refund equivalent to the cost of the meal.

  • Cancellations are not valid until registrants receive acknowledgement of their cancellation from fraudprevention@interac.ca.

  • Please remember that registration does not include travel, local transportation or accommodation. Registrants are responsible for canceling their own travel, local transportation and accommodation reservations.
Consent for Information Sharing
  • By registering for this conference, registrants agree that their business details will be printed in the conference's programme, which will be distributed to all attendees. This information may include: name, company, business title, mailing and email address.  Participants who do not wish to be included on this list should email fraudprevention@interac.ca

  • Registrants agree to our privacy policy posted at http://www.interac.ca/en/privacy-policy.
Limitation of Liability & Insurance
  • Registrants agree to take part in the conference at their own risk and need to make their own health and travel insurance arrangements.

  • We are not responsible for any and all liabilities for personal injury, death, loss or damage to property of the registrants howsoever caused as a result of the conference or related events.
General
  • We reserve the right to amend any part of the conference program at any time.

  • In our sole discretion, without refund, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the conference anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other registrants.

  • The conference is held in a public space, as such, we do not and cannot prohibit registrants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations and other companies from photographing or video or audio-taping some of the conference activities. We reserve the right to use images taken at the conference in future marketing materials.

  • The views expressed by any conference registrant, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are that of their own and not of the conference organizer.
